Installations Manager / Senior Fitter (Hands-On)

This is not a traditional management role. It’s a hands-on, site-first position for someone who cares about quality, leads by example, communicates clearly, and wants to be involved in delivering exceptional bespoke joinery — not just managing it from a desk. We believe that the install needs as much care as we take on the design and manufacture of our work, and our Installations Manager must agree.

Jack Badger is a small, bespoke joinery company specialising in high-end residential projects across the UK. Our work is detail heavy, and often complex. We plan properly, expect high standards, and back our installers to deliver work they’re genuinely proud of.

The Role

As the senior on-site lead for installations, you’ll:

• Be present on site and lead by example

• Install, survey, and set out bespoke joinery accurately

• Solve problems calmly and efficiently on live sites

• Communicate clearly with your team, clients, and other trades

• Manage people and quality through visible leadership

• Uphold health & safety and keep clear site records

This role suits someone who actively wants the site lifestyle and still enjoys being hands-on with the tools.

• Recent, hands-on joinery installation experience

• Confidence working on live construction sites

• Comfortable travelling and working away from home
